Use the Application page to sign up for an upcoming session. You’ll rotate through three roles:
Auditionee: Perform behind the screen as in a professional settingYou will play through 3 excerps that you bring, as chosen by the panel.
Intermediary: Facilitate the round, and keep it anonymous and smooth.
Panelist: Evaluate with other musicians, giving feedback and score sheets.
All participants are expected to dress professionally, as if attending a real audition. Your preparation begins with how you show up.
Each session includes:
Real-time performance experience
Panel feedback after the round
Peer observation to internalize what works, and what doesn’t
Peer observation deepens your understanding of what communicates clearly, and what doesn’t.
You’ll receive:
Written feedback
Scoring summaries (when applicable)
Personal notes from panelists
Recorded audio of your audition (upon request)
The goal is long-term improvement through repetition, reflection, and role-play; it's not just nailing it once.
